Anger Management

Material Support

Ongoing support for families through donations of diapers, formula, and baby items. Your gift helps us continue providing these essentials to those who need them most.

Prenatal and Infant Classes

Educational classes covering prenatal care, labor and delivery preparation, basic infant development, and newborn care for new and expecting parents.

Parenting Classes - "Earn While You Learn"

Court and Social Service Approved

Our "Earn While You Learn" parenting program covers parents of children ages 0-7. Free diapers are earned during the classes. The Strengthening Families program serves parents of children ages 7-17.

Co-Parenting Classes - "Learning To Work Together"

Court Approved

For divorced or separated parents who want to improve communication and cooperation for the benefit of their children.

Single Parenting Classes - "Raising Well-Balanced Kids Alone"

Practical guidance and emotional support for single parents navigating the unique challenges of raising children alone.

Blended Families Classes - "Making Everyone Feel At Home"

Resources and strategies for blended families to build connection, communication, and harmony in the home.

Anger Management Classes

Court Approved

Facilitated by a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-1), these classes help clients develop healthy strategies for managing anger in all areas of life.

ACE Overcomers Counseling

Facilitated by Certified ACE Instructors, this program focuses on overcoming Adverse Childhood Experiences and developing resilience for a healthier future.

Abstinence and STI Education

Comprehensive education for teens and young adults on abstinence, sexual health, and STI awareness - empowering young people to make informed decisions.

Personal Peer Counseling

Confidential, one-on-one sessions with trained staff members. No agenda. What you share stays here.

Spiritual Growth

Faith-based mentoring, prayer, and Bible studies facilitated by Certified Pastoral Counselors. Open to those seeking spiritual support and guidance.

Community Referrals

We connect clients with local agencies and community resources to ensure you get the full range of support you need beyond our center.

Abortion Alternative Education

We provide information on options and alternatives to abortion in a compassionate, non-judgmental setting. We connect clients with resources to make informed decisions.

We do not refer for abortions, distribute birth control, RU486, or Morning After pills.

Our anger management classes are facilitated by a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS). Prenatal education is informed by resources from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Your donations make all programs possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all services really free?
Yes. Every program at Doors of Hope is 100% free. There are no fees, no insurance requirements, and no hidden costs. We are a nonprofit funded entirely by donations.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are made by phone. Call 559-330-9011 to schedule. We can usually see you within the week, and walk-ins are welcome during office hours (Monday through Thursday, 10am to 5pm).
Are services available in Spanish?
Yes. All 13 programs are available in both English and Spanish. Our bilingual client advocates provide one-on-one sessions in your preferred language.
Is Doors of Hope a medical facility?
No. Doors of Hope is a parenting and pregnancy resource center, not a medical facility. We do not perform medical procedures or provide medical advice. Our staff are trained client advocates, not licensed counselors or medical professionals.
Are the programs court-approved?
Several of our programs are approved by Madera Family Court and Social Services, including parenting classes (Earn While You Learn), co-parenting classes, and anger management. Certificates of completion are provided.
